APPLICATION STATUS: REJECTED
You've just been screened by nothing.
There is no AI. There is no role. There is no recruiter.
In the time you spent here, 0 other CVs were processed by systems that work approximately like this one. Yours was one of forty-nine applications for a job that received 286% more applications than last year. The hiring manager has not read it. The hiring manager will not read it. The hiring manager is, at this moment, using a different AI to write the rejection email you are about to receive.
Everyone in this system is optimising. No one is choosing it.
A. The Hiring Story
Eighty per cent of hiring managers now deploy AI in recruitment workflows. Fifty-three per cent of candidates believe they have been rejected by an automated system without human review. Thirty-five per cent of employers admit they are probably missing the best candidates. The company selling the filtering tools attributes the volume to candidates using AI to apply. The company selling the filtering tools also sells the filters.

B. The Vacancy Story
Applications per posting rose 286 per cent in a single year. Vacancies per hundred jobs nearly halved between 2022 and 2025. Both are true. The first is reported widely. The second is reported rarely. Only the first appears in the article you will find if you follow the source.

C. The Pension Story
On 6 April 2026, the UK state pension age began rising from 66 to 67. Spain follows in 2027. Germany in 2031. Denmark will reach 68 by 2030, then 69 by 2035. France raised its minimum to 64 in 2023 and set the country on fire doing it. The OECD projects the average effective retirement age will rise by two years across forty-five nations by the mid-2060s. A cohort who were promised retirement this year are instead applying for the same roles you are. They are being screened by the same systems. Their rejections are drawn from the same pool.
